Community Manager

Compensation: Base Salary $40,000-$50,000 plus incentives

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Community Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will help our members best leverage our tools to get results. This role provides member support, handles all membership renewals, and is responsible for the community technology. We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication skills, a passion for building relationships, and a proven track record in program or community management.
While we prefer a full time candidate, we are open to part time.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage community engagement strategies and member support. Through surveys, outreach, forum moderation, and check-ins.
- Monitor and moderate online discussions to ensure a safe and positive environment.
- Manage all submissions for coaching calls.
- Engage with community members and respond to comments, questions, and feedback in a timely manner.
- Work with Marketing to develop and refine content calendar.
- Participate in community events.
- Create and share content that encourages community participation.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate community relations within broader marketing campaigns.
- Analyze community feedback and report on community sentiment and engagement metrics.
- Identify community trends and insights to inform marketing strategies and product development.
- Hold quarterly member success calls with each member - reviewing performance and generating a 90 day action plan.
- Implement strategic initiatives to increase member retention rates and ensure a high percentage of membership renewals.
- Develop and execute retention campaigns that encourage members to renew and maintain their affiliation with our organization.
- Provide tech support for members.
- Source testimonial materials from current members.
- Continue to develop understanding of the channel, participating in MSP events as a representative of the organization.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Community Manager, Program Director, or similar role.
- Strong customer support skills with a passion for problem-solving and relationship-building.
- Experience in social listening and utilizing feedback to improve brand image and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and community engagement tools.
- Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs.
- Experience with brand monitoring and social listening tools.
- Good understanding of marketing trends and techniques.
- Excellent multitasking and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Podia and/or Airtable (preferred)
- Experience in customer success, coaching, business development, or marketing.
- Experience in organizing and hosting community events and webinars.
- Familiarity with SEO, content management systems, and analytics tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
